Katherine (Katie) Agre was a genetic counselor at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota. Currently, she is a CNE Clinical Information Team Lead at Invitae Corporation. Katie received her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Genetic Counseling from the University of Minnesota. She has provided genetic counseling services in various indications including cancer, cardiology, general, and diagnostic odyssey patients. Her clinical interest lies within cardiology where she sees indications such as amyloidosis, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia, familial hypercholesterolemia, and others. She is also the primary counselor in the Marfan Clinic where she sees patients due to personal and/or family history of aortopathy. 
 
Katie is actively involved in research projects and enjoys her work in mentoring and supervising students interested in the field of genetic counseling. She is an active member of the National Society for Genetic Counselors. Katie is a Co-Chair for the Familial Hypercholesterolemia Working Group and an active member of the Membership Committee and Amyloidosis Working Group.
