Martha Grogan is a Cardiologist-Internist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.  She completed her graduation with distinction in Biology from University of Cincinnati and MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her Residency in Internal medicine and Fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and adult congenital heart disease from Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
 
Dr. Grogan has an experience in treating conditions like cardiac amyloidosis, cardiomyopathy and heart failure. She has special interests in amyloid heart disease, echocardiography, reversible cardiomyopathies and health education to the general public. Currently Dr. Grogan is a member of Scientific Advisory Board of Transthyretin Amyloidosis Outcomes Survey (THAOS), International Society of Amyloidosis and Health Information Service Line (HISL) Coordinating Board (Mayo Clinic Rochester Committees).
 
Martha Grogan has been a Founder and Director of the Cardiac Amyloid Clinic and Former Chief of Internal Medicine and Medical Director, Assistant Warden, at the Federal Medical Center. Besides, she was on staff at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside in Portland Oregon before joining the Mayo Clinic staff in 1995 and has been the cardiovascular medical editor of the award-winning MayoClinic.com website for almost a decade. Dr Grogan conducts clinical research with a focus on cardiac amyloidosis and lectures widely.
