Morie A. Gertz is a graduate from Northwestern University in Arts and Sciences. He then completed MD from Loyola University & Stritch School of Medicine in 1975 and Residency in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. He obtained Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. 

Dr. Gertz treats amyloidosis and multiple myeloma. His areas of interests are primary amyloidosis, stem cell transplantation in the treatment of multiple myeloma, amyloidosis and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia. He has performed procedures involving allogeneic stem cell transplant and autologous stem cell transplant.
